The harsh truth is Cambodia lacks experienced leaders
Mentorship plays a critical role in empowering the next generation to navigate challenges, unlock their potential, and drive positive change.
The Khmer Rouge genocide inflicted profound trauma on the population of Cambodia, resulting in the loss of approximately two million lives and devastating the social and cultural fabric of the country. This horrific event not only left deep scars on individuals and families but also had long-lasting effects on Cambodian society, including the decimation of a whole generation of intellectuals and professionals.
Experienced mentors and leaders are no longer available to guide and support the growth and learning for professionals. With 64% of Cambodia’s population under 25 years of age, this Cambodia Leadership Experience helps to bridge the gap, foster mentorship, and empower the new generation of leaders to rebuild and thrive.
Help Cambodia. Enrich your own journey.
With a whole generation of mentors missing from Cambodian workplaces due to the Khmer Rouge genocide, you will have the opportunity to support professionals who are driving meaningful transformation in their organisations and their country.
We are genuinely excited about taking a group of special leaders on this transformative journey to Cambodia, forging new connections, and leaving an enduring legacy of positive change.
It’s personal, professional and leadership development; for you and our beneficiaries in Cambodia.
Meet your guide, Trina Sunday
A game changer, passionate about meaningful change
Trina has been visiting Cambodia since 2008 as a traveller, having completed multiple trips as a volunteer before moving to Phnom Penh in 2014. She has a global perspective and holistic HR-marketing-business experience gained from 25+ years in Human Resources, organisational development, marketing, events management, and business consulting.
